Manners are an awareness of the feelings of others, if you have the awareness then you have good manners.

Behaving politely is a way of life, not just something you pull out when you’re at a wedding or a fancy restaurant. It’s important to learn as early as you can so manners and confidence in knowing what to do, become something a child does automatically.

Our Etiquette for Children Workshop covers the following subjects along with a variety of activities and interactions to enforce the learning and make it enjoyable and constructive.

  • First Impressions and how to be a good friend
  • The importance of kind words
  • Voice and articulation
  • Good grooming and what it means, dressing appropriately
  • Introductions
  • Table etiquette
  • Positive and confident body language for all occasions and conversation etiquette.

My 8 year old daughter attended the Australian School of Etiquette Children’s programme and I immediately saw a change in her use of simple words like please, thank you and excuse me. She is more aware of her posture and now really likes to set the table every night, I hope that lasts! The course was extremely beneficial and we will definitely be booking her into another workshop in a few years time. Thanks again. Paula Lomas
